What is Youth Day?
Youth Day opens the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress and draws young people from across the Archdiocese and beyond. This annual event is planned by young people, for young people. Young people will have the opportunity to experience speakers, exhibits, music, liturgy, and prayer that invite them deeper into their relationship with Christ. Young people will leave inspired and challenged to live as missionary disciples in their homes, schools, parishes and communities.
 
Who May Attend?
Youth Day is open to all young people from public and Catholic schools/parishes, grades 9 through 12. Unfortunately, young people in 8th grade or those who have already graduated high school are not permitted to attend. Young people must register as part of a group and be accompanied by an Adult Chaperone at all times. Parents and Chaperones wishing to accompany young people at Youth Day must register and be in complaince with their diocesan safe environment policies.
 
What Does Youth Day Cost?
Special discount pricing of $40 per person in effect until January 16, 2025. Regular pricing is $45 per person beginning January 17, 2025. Costs for Youth Day are separate from the fees charged for the Adult Days.

ADULT CHAPERONE COMPLIANCE: All adults attending Youth Day must be in compliance with their diocese’s Safe Environment Policies. A maximum of 10 young people can be registered with each paid Adult Chaperone. Larger groups are welcome to split into smaller groups during the day provided that they are properly chaperoned. Young people should be chaperoned at all times. 


Youth Day Workshop Schedule

Youth Day will have ONE Track this year (2025) with all participants following the same schedule. Workshop Note: Participants/groups will have the opportunity to attend two workshops: after the General Session and after lunch (Workshops 1 and 2). If a session you plan to attend is full, you will be directed to an available session that can accommodate your group.
